Sewing machine decision, Janome or Computerized Brother?
I am debating on what machine to get btw this Janome 11574 Heavy-duty Sewing Machine & this Brother CE4000 Heavy-duty Sewing Machine. They are both on Overstock.com. They are the same price. I am going to start designing & making my own clothes, so I want a machine that is good for beginners that I can grow with. I would like something heavy duty that can go through denim! I like both the machines & read every review possible, but I want someone with more knowledge that can compare & tell me what will give me more for my buck! Thank you!
btw from the reviews it sounds like the Janome is more heavy duty than the Brother, but the Brother seems to have lots of good features like the light, needle threader & thread cutter.
I have always loved sewing & garment construction, only Ive always done it by hand.
I give up on this option no one is answering my question =(

I started doing this while I was living in Paris a couple years ago. i was doing art shows and painting a lot, but even at the most successful shows you couldn’t expect more than a couple hundred people to come see your work. So I decided to start painting on clothing and bags (a perfect format) because then I could wear my art in public and have shown it to several thousand people in the course of a day.
